Digital signage display and management

This item was filled under [ General ]

Digital signage is an electronic display used in ‘adfotainment’ - used to inform, advertise or entertain. The advantage of digital signage over customary static signboards is that the content can be managed on a real time basis and animations can be used. There are several products used in the process of digital signage display and management.

Extenders, Splitters, Switches, Converters, Rackmounts are some of the equipment associated with digital signage. Component to VGA converter is an adapter that allows the user to switch between two component inputs with audio sources and enables one of them to be displayed on a VGA monitor, TV or high resolution projectors. The converter has VGA to Component converter option also. It is very easy to switch between the two adapters by the push of a button.

The salient features of the VGA to Component converter (and vice versa) are:

  • Automatic conversion between component and VGA
  • Can support VGA resolution of 1600*1200
  • Compact size
  • Buffered VGA output for long range transmission
  • Supports VGA and stereo audio

DVI to component converter allows for converting DVI inputs to analog PC video. With this equipment, component based receivers like LCD and Plasma can be used to display video from DVI sources. It is a very cost effective solution to enable a monitor that does not support DVI inputs to accept and display high definition video and audio in the form of DVI inputs. This converter comes with a switch that can be used to toggle between DVI or HDMI inputs also.
