You will definately agree with this statement “Music is divine”! Everybody loves music. No matter what your emotions are, music has the power to be your best companion. There are many gadgets like the music system, discman, MP3 players, Ipods and others, which help you to listen to your favourite numbers. But among the lot, the ipod is the most successful one.
If you have an ipod and have experienced using it, then you would have definately wondered “who invented the Ipod”? Ipod was actually invented by Jon Rubinstien along with his team at Apple. His team comprised of Steve Jobs who was Apple’s CEO, Tony Fadell former VP and an engineer, Micheal Dubey and Jonathan Ive who were also engineers at Apple. This wonderful device was launched in 2001.
Ipod is a device which has not reached the common masses. There are many reasons for that, cost topping the list. The alternative is the MP3 player, which is a huge hit. Every common man uses an MP3 player, be it at his home, office or even while travelling. Now “who invented the MP3 player?” is the next question.
The MP3 player was invented by a German Research Institut called the “Fraunhofer Institut” in the year 1987. They actually, began the research in the name of Digital Audio Broadcasting. The contributions of Mr. Dieter Seitzer , professor of the Erlangen University and Mr. Karlheinz Brandenburg connoisseur in mathematics and electronics are to be noted among the other people involved in the research. And the Fraunhofer institut got the patent rights in the year 1989. After the launch of the first MP3 player, the player has gone through a lot of modifications and different models have been released.
